My family not once brought me to church, I have been an athiest since age 15, an agnostic since age 6 before that, what shell?? I am Pagan and I really appreciate the History Channel for making the history of holiday’s more known, at least to some degree. Yule (aka Christmas) really WAS and IS a time that pulled everyone together. A time of joy and celebration of coming life, with longer days ahead (the birth of the SUN turned convieniently into the birth of the SON). I love the evergreen’s representation of lasting life and hope during the the dark times of winter. Merry Yule to everyone!

I grew up celebrating Christmas, but in the last few years the Lord has reveled a lot of scripture to me that makes me question these worldy ties. the tree, wreath, commercialism. why seek ye the living among the dead.
