Question by “Kh a a a a a n n” ! !: Around what date do you take down your Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations?
Ours are usually up until January 2nd or 3rd – sometimes later – but always down on or before January 5th which is the 12th day of Christmas.
We put up a real tree in mid December and see that it is well watered. We put up some other decorations which are mostly of a religious nature, and not too many of them.
When do you take down your tree and other decorations?

no, it means the spending of money on gifts and other things. This is what is meant by “commercial” or “commercializing. Did you know that Christmas season is the time of year many retail stores make 50% of there yearly income which is basically only 6-8 weeks long? It is also promoted by the Fed Govt so the economy keeps rolling along.
Decorations and other symbols of Christmas have been used long before the commercialization came about
