The Benefits of a Realistic Artificial Christmas Tree This Year
Christmas is near, so it’s time to hang the mistletoe and deck the halls. Now is the best time to get a new artificial tree for Christmas since holiday decorating is at full throttle. There are more advantages than disadvantages in regard to getting a realistic artificial Christmas tree. The two main reasons not to get an artificial tree are:
1. They lack the smell of a real tree. This is an easy fix as candle companies create a wide variety of scents, including pine scented candles that your family can burn. If you really want the smell of Christmas in your home, light a sugar cookie scented candle in your kitchen.
2. You won’t be able to enjoy the tradition of cutting down your Christmas tree. This is simple enough to remedy. You’re free to visit and tour a tree farm and enjoy their hot cocoa. Then make your journey home and decorate your realistic artificial Christmas tree. The tradition is continued and a tree is saved.
For a much longer list, try looking at a list of reasons why you should get an artificial Christmas tree.
1. The most important reason of all is that you are saving the environment. Another tree is left standing to give us clean air and oxygen when you put up artificial Christmas tree each year.
2. It isn’t necessary to water it. People’s day to day lives are busy enough during the holidays.
3. You save money in the long run. Realistic artificial Christmas trees last a long time.
4. The need to vacuum up needles each day is gone. Sometimes, the pesky things will still be turning up in your carpet months later. They hurt like heck when you step on them barefoot.
5. You have the exact same look from year to year.
6. You won’t have any sap to clean up.
7. Your tree is outstanding. It does not matter how hard you search for the perfect tree; you will never find it. Realistic artificial Christmas trees are perfectly shaped each time.
8. You don’t have to untangle a mess of lights. Stores sell pre-lit trees so you never have to worry about untangling another set of lights ever again.
The reasons for buying a realistic artificial Christmas tree outweigh the reasons not to. This is not only a great investment in your upcoming Christmases, but it’s also a great investment for the future of our planet.
Marlia Brightston decorates each year with artifical Christmas trees instead of real trees. Why? Because she wants to help the environment and have a beautifully decorated home. LED Christmas trees, especially artificial slim christmas trees, work perfectly in her small home and leave room for other decorations like holiday wreaths and pre-lit Christmas garlands.

There will be no Christmas cards this year; no poetic musings chiming good will and cheer. Instead, Santa shares this video missive from the Oval Toy Shop that Artic gift factory that resides at the worlds icy top. Indeed the past 12 months have swept a frigid chill, a climate so cold it has frozen a world of free will. Lets take a moment to recap what we have seen, so every adult child can grasp the words Santa does mean. For starters, the North Pole endured an endless election campaign partisan bickerings to determine which party should rule and rein. The Elves and Reindeer each politicked over change we can believe, its result forcing all Northern Pole residents to lament and grieve. We heard about reverends that were far from Wright, and terrorists with Ayers designed to instill lasting fright. We witnessed candidates who were momentarily suspended, as our Northern economy quickly became up-ended. Fuel costs for Santas sled had soared feverishly high; real estate values for the Toy Shop plummeted from its sky. Even Santas investments were worth less than a dime, with Wall Street executives belching over their blatant crime. CEOs of our big Toy Factories jetted here with tin cup in hand, asking partisan leaders to bail them out from homemade quicksand. Even with billions of North Pole dollars set deficitedly aside, job loss would only overwhelm the tumult of this rising blue tide. Artic residents now face loss of both job and home, as oversea wars continue to grow and …
Question by Shelly: Is this a cute Christmas idea?
I was going to get 10-15 of my close friends a christmas gift. I was thinking of giving them each the same thing that included:
A mini christmas stocking containing a candy cane, a nail filer, nail polish, and lotion from bath and body works.
Do you know how much that might cost?
And do you think that is a cute idea? Any suggestions or opinions?
Thanks

or if you dont have that many photos draw them a picture or something.

With the holiday buying season fast approaching, retailers predict that pre lit artificial Christmas trees will be decking more halls this year than ever before. Artificial Christmas tree sales showed a 10% growth year over year in the past five years, according to the National Christmas Tree Association, with U.S. consumers purchasing 9.2 million artificial Christmas trees and spending 5 million in that time.
Balsam Hill™, a top pre lit artificial Christmas tree retailer, predicts a strong “growing season” this year for polethylene trees. “Polyethylene tree sales have doubled to comprise 20% of all artificial trees, up from only 10% last year,” says Thomas Harman, Founder and CEO of Balsam Hill™.
Harman says that polyethylene, or PE trees, generally have the best quality, color and shape of any type of artificial trees. Balsam Hill™’s own PE brand, True Needle™, is the company’s star seller. “Our True Needle™ technology is the best needle technology for realistic, lifelike tree needles, made to match the color, shape, and texture of real tree needles. And their hinged design is as easy to set up as unfolding an umbrella.”
Artificial Christmas trees have no mess and can be stored in the garage or closet and re-used for many years. Whether consumers select one due to allergies, added fire safety, or for the simplicity and ease of an artificial Christmas tree, they can take comfort knowing that artificial trees also continue to be made with top quality in mind. The technology in artificial Christmas trees has definitely come a long way.
For example, pre lit artificial Christmas trees are now extremely popular, cornering the market with 90% of total artificial trees. But although clear lights are still favored over multi-colored lights by over 80% of the market, consumers can now have their cake and eat it too. Balsam Hill™’s Color+ClearTM lights allow buyers to change the lights from clear to multicolor, or both, all with a remote control.
While pre lit or decorated Christmas trees are expected to outshine the competition this season, Harman and other tree manufacturers expect that the upside-down trees that turned last year’s holiday on its head are a thing of the past. Other media ploys, like the fiber-optic tree, are also no longer as strong, likely due to the high ticket price and are limited to only smaller trees now.
LED lighted tree sales are expected to be stronger this year because of their energy efficiency, but a vast majority of holiday shoppers still prefer the warm feeling of incandescent lighted trees, proving that even with modernity constantly encroaching, tradition still plays a very large part in the holiday season.
