Question by marigold: How to do you put a christmas bag on the xmas tree without including the stand?
If I put the bag under the stand, when I’m ready to take it out of the house, what do I do? If I just pull it up over the tree the stand is in the bag.

You have to make a small hole in the center of the bottom of the bag. Then, you put the tree’s trunk through it and place it into the tree stand. The trunk will then be able to reach the water. The bag just lays on top of the stand. Then, cover it with a tree skirt. When you take your tree down after Christmas…
1. remove the skirt
2. pull the bag up over the tree & tie
3. remove the tree stand
4. tie the bottom of the bag
Once you take your tree out of the house, depending on where you live, you may want to remove the bag before setting it out by the curb. Many areas offer a tree mulching service. Good luck & Merry Christmas!
